Birthday Treats!

I'm a very happy girl today! Because these came in the mail today! Birthday treats from Esprit and Sakae Sushi!!! Wheeee!!! I love the Esprit card!! It's all shiny and glossy! I like shiny and glossy stuff! Lookie! They come in $20, $30 denominations, etc! And the complimentary $20 voucher from Sakae Sushi! Think about the sashimee I can eat!!! OMG!!! I'm going crazy just thinking of it. *drool* Shall ask Mummy to go with me. Must share with her, if not she say I only know how to share good stuff with my friends, never share with her. LOL. My Mummy is very cute. She's jealous of my friends! Hahahahaha! But hor, the Esprit voucher a bit "chiak lang" (bluff people) leh. You see like very nice hor, got $20 - $100 off. And then ah, when you take a closer look, you see (urm, I think you must click the photo for the bigger size then can see).. ... must spend $500 then can get $100 off! -_-"' I'd rather they just give me 20% off la. Cows. So I don't really mind getting Esprit vouchers. Really. Hahahahahaha. Oh wells, better than nothing. If I spend $100, I get $20 off. Woweee! Esprit and Sakae Sushi rocks my socks. Totally. 'Cept I ain't wearing any socks. I'm off for class! I'm high.

Wild Wild Wet day!

The Dingbats

Ok, I admit, I have been too lazy to update. Really just too lazy. But ok, take this for an installment payment ok? Photos! We went back to TKSS (Tanjong Katong Secondary School. Not Tanjong Katong Girl's School, you ninnies. Grr.) today! I don't know what for, but our chairman said since NTU was having their 50th Anniversary or something of that sort, the NTU-ians are getting half day off! So he decided to arrange for a Back-to-TK outing! Yay! Yes, I know I'm narcissistic. I never said I wasn't! Hahahaha! =) I lurrrrrrve my shades. After TK, we went to Mos Burger @ Parkway. I seriously don't understand what's so good about Mos. The food is "ok-only" and it's so expensive! Only stupid people will eat there. The only thing I'll order there is their frozen strawberries. Ichigo, they're called, if my memory hasn't failed me. Jeffrey was doing his engineering tutorial there! OMG. I can't understand no shit from the figures on his papers. Bah. I was bored, so I whipped out my camera! Heh heh heh. Photo opportunities are never missed! 1. (from left) Jeff, ZJ and Poh. Dunno doing what la. I think Poh was offering his hand to Jeff. 2. Kena forced to smile, by me! Heh heh. 3. ZJ having a hearty laugh. At what? I don't know man. 4. Jeff trying to act cute or smtg and ZJ not amused at all. 5. This one is funny. Jeff is supposed to look like he's giving ZJ a b***-j** and ZJ is supposed to look very "shuang". But.. Oh wells. 6. Jeff is trying to snatch my camera from me. Ahah! Try harder. Bleah. 7. The very classic, "See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil." But THIS is still the best! 8. As you can see, me and Cindy are the "sanest" in the group. Do you know I had to take this photo MYSELF? Those jokers took like 5-6 shots of magnified eyes, nose and mouth. Grr. 9. They are finally tired of fooling around. 10. Ahah! A taste of his own medicine. 11. Something funny was said. I can't remember what. 12. Jeff with his calculator and notes out. But not doing work! Pooi!! Then I left for PS. Was supposed to look for boots. But I realised it was a FUTILE search. Bah. I think I'll have better luck at Far East. But in the meantime, anyone who knows anywhere I can find nice and not-so-'spensive boots, please tell me. Please!!!!! But I managed to buy my coloured lenses in Misty Grey! Hee hee. Some ulu brand called Spectroflex. It was only $19! So cheap la. If it's good I'll try the Violet and Blue and Hazel too! Wowee! Yay! Can't wait to collect them on Friday! Wait for my reviews! You know, there's a Macdonald's in P.S.? But no, we thought the Macdonald's at Centrepoint is better. That's why we walked all the way from P.S. to Centrepoint just to eat a fillet-o-fish meal. -_-. So dumb la. Just 'cos we couldn't make up our minds. We started off with Ichiban Sushi (too expensive), to Pizza Hut (don't have my favourite drumlets), to Genki Sushi (which closed down, we didn't know), to Pasta Mania (not veh worth the money) then finally we settled with Macdonald's at Centrepoint. Bah. Argh. Too hungry to walk anymore. So we ended up eating Mac's!!!! Wtf. Urgh. So not-satisfying. Pooi. I want Pasta!!!! And drumlets!!!! Went around trying watches too! There's this cute little watch kiosk just beside Lee Hwa Jewellery that sells really funky watches! I tried a couple of really funky ones but ALL TOO BIG! Argh! I am such a sad case. But I don't really care, so I shall go back and buy one. Yes. I shall buy the yellow one. They're quite cheap too. Only $10 - $20. And they're so colourful! Makes me happy just looking at it. Wakakakaka. I saw this! It's for the Lantern Festival thingey at the Chinese Gardens. This time one not so nice hor? Last year they had the Disney one! So nice! I missed it! Argh. Put off by the location (Almost at Boon Lay or smtg, the opposite end of the MRT line for me) and no company. Bah. I hope they have the Disney theme again next year. I'll go. Even if I have to go alone! Hrmmph! So being the "cheap-thrill seeker" I am and the fact that I probably WILL NOT go all the way there, I shall just make do with these loh. Got giraffe! I like! Hee. Ok. That's all for today. I'll post up The List tomorrow. And more details to my party. =) Cheerios people!!

Fry-day! and Random Updates

I woke up this morning with a single thought. "I have something on tomorrow (Saturday) but what is it?" And I sat on my bed for a while and suddenly recalled. "Oh. I have class tomorrow!" Which brought to mind, I haven't collected my IB (I did a module with the same title in Poly. Damn.) notes, haven't submitted my Registration form and I haven't paid my school fees! Oh oh. I hope they don't bar me from the class tomorrow. I hope Maxine Clarke is a nice lecturer. Gah. She has a nice British accent. I like. =) Zhenting's Birthday Party @ Downtown East! Went for Zhenting's chalet and Wild Wild Wet (we had 4 free passes!) yesterday! Ok, Wild Wild Wet was not as scary as I thought it was going to be. I tried most of the rides, except the Slide Up (very scary looking structure that's U-shaped. You can just imagine how steep the fall is.) and the covered slide. I did the open slide though, because I think I would get really claustrophobic in the covered one and probably faint inside the tube and no one would know. Hahahaha. And we went on the Ular-Lah! 4 times ok! Hahaha, that ride is really quite fun. I was a bit freaked out before the first ride and screamed like nobody's business but subsequently, you kinda get hooked on to it. Although climbing up 3 storeys (4 times over + once for the slide) wasn't the most fabulous thing to do. The Shiok River was really shiok-ah! You can just go on a tube (it's provided for free) and then flow along with the current. It's really just very relaxing la. Shiok shiok! But it gets abit crowded and you just sort of bump into other people's floats or random people who are swimming in the River. Basically those 3 rides are the best la. The rest are, urm, so-so only. Nothing much to say. You can check out the Tsunami, a pool with man-made waves to simulate you being out in the sea. You can take the tubes and just plop yourself on it and just float along. There's also a jacuzzi at the back of the park (we went and we saw an angmoh couple making out. Sheesh! Get a room!) with a small waterfall. Can stand underneath it for a massage. Pretty cool. You can find out more here: Wild Wild Wet No complains though, 'cause I went in for free! Yay! Only 15 days left before my birthday. I'm nervous. Excited? Stressed. Happy? I don't know man. It's just different turning 21. Oh ya! I have CARTOON NETWORK AT HOME!!! Muahahahaha!! And it's in English!! There was once, a long long time ago, I had Cartoon Network too. But it was in Chinese!!! Tell me, who watches Powerpuff Girls in Chinese?! And Scooby-Doo in Chinese!? It was torturous (is this how you spell it? it looks weird.)!! They were calling Scooby "Shi Gu Bi"!!! Omg. Right. Where was I before I had this revelation? Oh wait! I even have Disney and Nickelodean (don't know how to spell.) now! Wahahahahahaha. Shiok man! Ok. So back to turning 21. Oh the irony. LOL. I now have 63 confirmed guests! Yay! And the party's 15 days away. Will be sending all the confirmed guests a reminder soon. I hope nobody says they can't come at the last minute. I will be so disappointed. I don't think I can handle another "I'm sorry I can't come for your party." Another update. I made it, I made it, I made it! Remember the Big Day I was talking about? I made it! Hee. So my next Big Day will be on 12th Sept! Yahoo! Better be well-prepared this time. Can't afford to screw up! Wheee! Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire updated trailer is out! Go check it out here! Alright. I'm off. Ciao!

Retail Therapy and old-skool cinema

Going out to meet Mich for movie "Bewitched"! I look washed out. I think the flash is too intense. Hrmm. Check out the old-skool movie tickets! OMG! Only $5. At Princess cinema at Bedok (just opposite the interchange, the short building where the Mac is). Check out this old-skool lollipop!! It's been donkey years since I ate one of these. Found this at a traditional provision shop just opposite the cinema. You can whistle with it! Wahahaha. So very amusing. I felt like a "sua-ku" yesterday as I marvelled at all the old-skool stuff. The cinema was practically empty. Only a handful of secondary school girls, a couple and a family. Plus me and Mich. Which makes 12 of us. Wow. In a HUGE cinema. Those school girls are really.. giggly. They squealed at every scene, like it was the funniest show they've ever watched. And there was a scene where Will Ferrell came out naked, they screamed! Oh-my-god. I don't recall myself being like that when I was in secondary school. Well, it was an alright show. With some funny parts, like the dining room scene. Yeah, that's about it. Hahahaha. Oops. So thank goodness I only paid $5 for the tickets. Whee. No more GV for me! Wahahahahahaha! And then some random pictures. Of the stuff I got from Bugis Street. M)phosis top. I finally bought it. Last piece. Darn. Always the case. Gorgeous aquamarine earrings. Can you believe they were going at 3 for $10? Pretty and dainty necklace. Wheee! Cheap too. $6. Love this necklace. As seen in the picture with the M)phosis top. $10. Of course, the prices you see (except for the M)phosis top la) are after discounts! Must bargain! And it's easier to bargain with young salesgirls. If the store is manned by an auntie ah, wah, sure cannot win her. Yay. Retail therapy is good. =)

Blogthings

Your Birthdate: September 10
Your birth on the 10th day of the month adds a tone of independence and extra energy to your life. The number 1 energy suggest more executive ability and leadership qualities than you path may have indicated. A birthday on the 10th of any month gives greater will power and self-confidence, and very often a rather original approach. This 1 energy may diminish your ability and desire to handle details, preferring instead to paint with a broad brush. You are sensitive, but your feeling stay somewhat repressed. You have a compelling manner that can be dominating in many situations.
I very compelling meh? Hrmmph. Ok loh. Maybe sometimes loh. But I am REPRESSED!! I really am!!!! Argh.
You are funky, outdoorsy, and down to earth. While you may not be a total hippie... You're definitely one of the most free spirited people around. You are very impulsive - every day is a new adventure. However, you do put some thought behind all your actions. Still, you do tend to shock and offend people from time to time!

Quite true huh. Some thought is an understatement. I put too much thought behind my actions. I'm not impulsive at all. In fact, I think I think too much. Wahahahaha. I should be MORE impulsive. Hor?

But the rest is pretty much true. Hmm.

Your Hidden Talent
You are both very knowledgeable and creative. You tend to be full of new ideas and potential - big potential. Ideas like yours could change the world, if you build them. As long as you don't stop working on your dreams, you'll get there.
Wah, big potential ah. Really not? Ok, I shall call my agent and place an order for my Merc S200 now. Wahahahahaha. Chilli red please.

A Day at the Beach

Warning: Long post with lots of photos ahead! So sit back and wait. A while. While the photos load ok! And as usual, click on photo to see the full size! *grin* Alright, so we didn't make it to Sentosa, but East Coast Park was just as good. Hrrmph. I swear I will go to Sentosa. Soon. Very soon. *cross fingers* And no, girls, I am not sad/angry/unhappy that you 2 couldn't make it. Really. I' m ok la. Just felt a bit "tua-ed". But I'm fine ok! First stop, NTUC! Or do they call it Fair Price now? Actually the price not very fair what, it's considered expensive leh. Cows. Where got fair? Anyhows, bought chips! Yummy Doritos, very Pari Pari Calbee and Fair Price Potato Chips. Saw the Van Houten Napolitains and I was reminded of my childhood days, so we bought that too! Karen! Don't finish it! Leave some for meee! Note to readers: the Pizza Squares not nice one! Don't buy! Then we trooped down to the beach, after which I took this photo, it started to rain. Dammit. I was like, "Shit, Karen, I think it's going to rain." And very on-cue, Mr Thunder decided to roll then. tmd. Luckily it was only a drizzle. So we decided to go ahead and rented a bicycle! But not before I took a very narcissistic shot first! I feel like a sunshine girl whenever I'm at the beach. Even though I am NOT a sunshine girl. Really. See, Karen has a very healthy bronzy tan, while I look like a steamed chicken. And pink. Gawd. And this very die-hard cyclist. "Oei, raining already! Come into the shelter la!" No, actually it's just a dummy. And the shopkeeper actually replied, "Aiya, nobody to take over him, so he has to stay up there." Ok. -_-. Together now, "L-A-M-E!" So this bicycle rental shop was having this promotion. Rent 1 hour and you get a free gift. It's actually a finger puppet. It looks kinda weird. Ha. But quite cute la. The further we cycled, the heavier the rain got. Sadness. Until we had to take shelter in this patio. And there was a very cute kitty! He ate the chips that Karen dropped on the floor! I didn't know cats liked sour cream and onion. And do they even eat chips!? Oh, it ate my Very Pari Pari Calbee Hot & Spicy chips as well. I'm sure it was very hungry. Poor little kitty. The double bike we rented. Trivia : Karen CANNOT ride behind. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. She says the pedals are too close to each other and she's too fat which is why she can't cycle behind. Wth. And she started screaming when we tried to move off with me cycling in front. Bah. Oh yah! We saw this group of people building a sand castle! Very nice hor!? They were a bunch of students from NTU, some church group thingey. And this sand castle building thing is supposed to be part of their team-building. Hrmm. Very team-building meh? I don't know. But that's a darn good-looking sand castle. Stopped in the middle of the track for this shot. Hahahahaha. And this too. Yeah, double-bikes rock. Hahaha. I can sit back and relax leh! But actually, I think I rode harder than Karen. Bleah. Saw a lot of Malay teens (boys, actually) doing this. What's this huh? Some kind of surfing? But they barely got past the shore. I don't see any point in this activity. Seriously. And their boards from Billabong, Quiksilver one okay. Don't play play ah. But really, what is the whole point of this running and falling into the water? Hmm? We got bored of watching them so we started drawing on the sand! Wheee! So fun! Karen and her hot pink slippers. Me and my black Projectshop slippers ($18.90!! must mention, too expensive for a pair of rubber flip flops. grr) . Our icons. Shuling's a tree because her name has the word "SHU" in it. Shu means tree. Zhenting's icon is -_-"' because she always gives this face. Wahahaha. Karen's carrot (drawn very nicely by me) because, eh, I don't know leh. Her name sounds like carrot? Does it? And mine is a smiley face because I like this face! Yay! And we saw a couple romancing in the water! Wah! So "lo-man-tic" leh! But what a weird place. Heh. My foot prints! The second after I took this picture, a gigantic wave crashed in and washed my foot prints away. :( Yes, I know I have long arms. They are proportionate to my height la ok. Trivia: Did you know if you stretched out your hand like so, the distance from the tip of your fingers on your right hand to the tip of your fingers on your left hand is your height? Anyhows! This picture is not about my hands. It's about what's written in the sand. My URL! Wheeeee! It looks darn cool ya! And diagonally.. Diagonally with me! As if my URL wasn't enough, I wrote my name too! Oh these 3 kids are damn cute! Especially the little boy! Hee hee! And they actually agreed to take a picture with me! Ahhhh, so cute!!!! A candid shot. Hrmmph. Nice sun tho. Yay! Hahaha, I like this shot! Karen looks like she's holding the little boy in her hands! So cute! Yes, the narcissistic duo strikes again! And again! And again again! And again again again! Oh, the very popular "xi nu ai le" shots. Xi : Happy Nu: Angry Ai: Sad Le: Happier than happy. Hahahaha!!! I don't know what's the difference between Xi and Le actually. Karen's take. Hahahaha. I think she looks really sad in the "Ai" photo. We found out Bus 401 goes to East Coast Park! Wowee! Next time can take 401 already! Yippee! And yes, we love my camera. *smirk* 4 - views of selsel. Wahahaha.. I've never seen these before! Cool! No I am not balding. I have a head of thick hair. Ya ya ya. And lookie who cut his hair! Mr Melvin Tan! Tell you to cut short look nicer right! And it took a gay hairstylist to make him cut his hair short, when he could have just taken my advice! Bah. Anyhoos, hi-five to the hairstylist. Hahaha. Great minds think alike. Wheee! So ham-sum la. *wolf-whistle whee-weet!* Hahahaha!! Willy Wonka! Willy Wonka! Wheeee! Oh and hope the concert went well for you, sweetie. Sorry I couldn't attend!! *paiseh paiseh* And I where got look like Kelly Poon (of Project Superstar fame)?? Alamak! First it was Rui'en. Then Joi Tsai (ok, that was really ridiculous). And now!!! Kelly?! Ok. I'm flattered, because they are very pretty. But I would prefer to look like Selena Ho, ok? Thank yew very much. Have I lost weight? Not much what. I just fell sick, so maybe I lost a few kgs there. But very obvious meh? Hmm. I'm still not shitting very often you know. Where has my shit gone to, that is the question (!?!?!). Gah. Ok, very long post. I'm tired. Wednesday is creeping near. So stressed la!!!!!!
