Click on the above banner to vote for Mr Melvin () - Highlander - "wa ta!" Tan's song! His song, (Kitchen) beat the rest of the competition and made it to the finals of 2005, a national event for local music composers and lyricists. *clap clap* Also look out for Mark Shi 's () entries, in which he wrote both the melody and the lyrics. Very meaningful lyrics, if you listen to the song carefully. He also wrote the lyrics for Mr Tan's song, Kitchen. Very talented guy la. Can sing, can write lyrics, can play music. Bah. Ok, out of point. The list of finalists can be found in the website and a recording of all their songs can be heard. Show your support for our budding local songwriters ( local budding songwriters? budding local songwriters? I can't make up my mind.)! You can vote as many times as you want for the song you like and the song with the highest number of votes will win the "Most Popular Song". Voters also get a chance to win a free music course of your choice, sponsored by Music Forest Pte Ltd - a subsidary of Ocean Butterflies Music. Yes, the very same record company that catapaulted catapulted JJLin and A-do to popstardom. So, vote generously!!

I'm just as glad that you're in my life! The younger sister I never had. You know I love you too! :) Posted by Hello

Cool, trust me to find this quiz on Nad's blog. Actually saw it on Ouyang's blog first, but that silly kuku didn't put the link to the quiz. Dang. Anyhows, I did it! The quiz : Get to know yourself better Your view on yourself: You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties. The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for: You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes. Your readiness to commit to a relationship: You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person. The seriousness of your love: Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates. Your views on education: Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own. The right job for you: You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life. How do you view success: You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous. What are you most afraid of: You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you. Who is your true self: You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve. Ok la, quite true la. Win already loh, very smart loh. Be warned! Quiz-spree ahead! In search of a soulmate Here is the analysis: The hard-working chief engineer is the guy for you. He's the one who would build a wooden hut--with a complete set of furniture, just for you. You need to feel at home and he's the one to make your dreams come true. What type of personality do you have? Here is the analysis: Kind and Gentle. Your kindness is your charm - you are also gentle and sweet. Everybody likes to be around people with your personality. Like a psychologist, people like to talk to you to discuss their problems because you are proper and discrete, as well as confident. You look mature and people respect you. People with this kind of character are few and far between.

What does being a friend really mean to you?

You value your friendships: 40%

You value your friendships quite a lot but you don't like to show your feelings to others. You would rather keep your feelings to yourself than share them with your friends. You might get a pleasant surprise if you are more open about caring for people - they will probably let you know that you're special to them, too.

How you control your husband, who will lead the family and who will be led?

You tend to adopt traditional roles of a fine woman. You listen to what your husband tell you attentively and enjoy being guided and led by him.

How will you choose your Mr Right?

You will make the most of being able to shop around for Mr Right. You love your freedom and will have a lot of fun learning about what sort of man you like. When you do find the guy for you, nobody will be able to keep you away from the church.

Who will be your future Mr Right?

Your future hubby will be lovely and sweet, but a little immature - possibly even a spoilt brat! This guy will trigger your maternal instinct. You'll always be willing to watch his back and clean up his mess. He might be the same age as you are or even younger.

When will you get married?

You will be very determined and thorough in choosing a spouse. You'll study every detail about your man before saying yes to a life of love. You will eventually make a good choice, but you'd better be sure that he's willing to wait that long.

What sort of wife will you be?

If your hubby is crazy enough to ask you to do silly things, you may as well have fun with him. You'll make a fun-loving wife.

Will you and your husband have a good time together?

You and your spouse will choose to spend time on more romantic activities. You won't end up quite as healthy, but you'll have plenty of fun going out for drinks, watching concerts or playing cards at home with other friends.

What will your children be like?

Your kids will be very naughty. They will often get into trouble but you will have a great time bringing these fun-loving kids up. They are lively and smart.

How loyal are you?

You are a cool chick! You pretend not to care about the many men you attract, but they just keep coming back for more. When you are married, you won't be the loyal kind.

The Bus

Here is the analysis:

As you choose to sit on the front, you are quick-witted and will always have gags to make people laugh or have questions for them to think. If you are absent, all members will be bored.

Your Hidden Talent

Here is the analysis:

The Mass Communicator

You have a cheerful personality and you are a naturally kind person. Your hidden talent isn't really that hidden at all: you shine among a crowd. You would make an ideal news announcer, flight attendant or model - any position that would give you an opportunity to deal with plenty of people. A tip for you is to avoid getting too deeply involved in others' personal lives - otherwise you might find yourself constantly being asked for help.

Who is your dream guy?

Here is the analysis:

He is wild and adventurous. His path is often against the world. He does what he wants when he feels like. His type of girl is quite like him, independent and wise. If you love freedom and willing to risk, go for this guy.

The Bottle

What if your boyfriend goes out with another girl?

You are like most others who take the middle track. Although you won't get over-worried, you are not too optimistic either. You overcome bad times after a while and patience will bring you happiness.

The House

Here is the analysis:

Your house tells the world that you ought to be a leader. You are a freedom lover and a strong person. You are talkative and sociable. You are very tidy person. There's nothing wrong with that because you're pretty popular among friends. You often come up with solutions to problems. Your life is always full of changes. You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You always have plans on your mind. This might cause a lot of stress if things don't go the way you expect. You have a strong personality and you like to command, influence and control people. You are not a romantic person by nature. We also see that you are sensuous, sexual, and privately passionate. You don't think much about yourself.

Your Working Style

You are friendly, adaptable realists. You rely on what you see, hear, and know first-hand. You good-naturedly accept and use the facts around you. You look for a satisfying solution instead of trying to impose any "should" or "must" of your own. You are sure a satisfying solution will turn up once you have grasped all the facts.

You solve problems by being adaptable, and often can get other to adapt, too. People generally like you well enough to consider any compromise you suggest. You are unprejudiced open-minded, and tolerant of most everyone--including yourself. You take things as they are and thus may be very good at easing a tense situation and pulling conflicting factions together.

With your focus on the current situation and realistic acceptance of what exists, you can be a gifted problem solver. Because you are not necessarily bound by a need to follow standard procedures or preferred methods, you are often able to see ways of achieving a goal by "using" the existing rules, systems, or circumstances in new ways, rather than allowing them to be roadblocks.

You are actively curious about people, activities, food, objects, scenery, or anything new presented to your senses. Your expert abilities in using your senses may show in:

  • a continuous ability to see the need of the moment and turn easily to meet it
  • the ability to absorb, apply and remember great numbers of facts
  • an artistic taste and judgement
  • the handling of tools and materials
You make your decisions by using the personal values of feeling rather than the logical analysis of thinking. Your feeling makes you tactful, sympathetic, interested in people, and especially good at handling human contacts. You may be too easy in matters of discipline. You learn far more from first-hand experience than from books, and do better in actual situations than on written tests. Abstract ideas and theories are not likely to be trusted by you until you have been tested in experience. You may have to work harder than other people to achieve in school, but can do so when you see the relevance.

You do best in careers needing realism, action, and adaptability. Examples are health services, sales, design, transportation, entertainment, secretarial or office work, food service, supervising work groups, machine operation, and many kinds of troubleshooting.

You are strong in the art of living. You get a lot of fun out of life, which makes you good company. You enjoy your material possessions and take the time to acquire you. You find much enjoyment in good food, clothes, music, and art. You enjoy physical exercise and sports, and usually are good at these.

How effective you are depends on how much judgment you acquire. You may need to develop your feeling so that they can use your values to provide standards for your behavior, and direction and purpose in your lives. If your judgment is not developed enough to give you any character or stick-to-it-iveness, you are in danger of adapting mainly to your own love of a good time.

The Eating Test

Here is the analysis:

You are generally a calm person. You get excited when your favorite band is in town, when you are going on a date with your partner or when you and your friends are dancing. Your friends mean everything to you. You hate it when the summer is over.

You like art, and some poetry. You can throw a party, or help a friend put one together. You usually have no trouble finding dates, but you occasionally hit a dry spell. You like the outdoors, usually, and rainy weather doesn't bother you. You sometimes get jealous of people who are smarter or better looking than you, but you wouldn't hold it against them if you got to know them. You are on good terms with your parents, even though they annoy you once in a while. People tend to think you are reliable and trustworthy. You like animals.

If your birthday is on the 10th day of the month:

You are very capable. If you are a woman, you have high chance to be a renowned workingwoman. If you are a man, your path to fame and honor is near. As an innovator, you are not a good follower. You are good in implementing your imagination and share it with others. You are always well dressed.

I woke up at 7:30am this morning. I need sleep! Thank goodness it's only a half-day stint! So it's 48 minutes more to bedtime! Silly Karen thinks I haven't slept the whole night. Ha ha ha. Silly. I'm freezing in the office, the aircon is blasting right at me! Boo. I should've brought my jacket along. Dad's adamant on me coming to the office for "training" so that I can run the business when I graduate. But really. Is this what I want to do when I graduate? Sigh. Although he say's it's up to me whether I want help him run the business when I get my degree, I can tell that he really wants me to take over. So yeah, basically my life journey has been planned and laid out for me. Sad case. No no, don't give me that crap about "aiya, at least you have a guaranteed-job when you graduate" or " aiya, work at your dad's place good what, can get paid and don't have to work like cow." It doesn't work that way! I don't want to earn from my dad's company ya know. And I am really not into sales. Which is basically what this line is all about. Boo. I prefer to be cooped up behind my terminal, or liasing with clients on the telephone, or out recce-ing for venues. That kind of thing la. Roars. This sucks. But I'm obligated, aren't I? Bah. Or maybe if I look depressed enough, he'll let me go. *evil grin* Heh heh heh. Never mind, the situation is complicated, I can't explain the whole situation. Alot of "technicalities" and "politics" involved. Ya know. I envy those who get to do what they want to do, as in, in an occupation, job, that sorta thing. I mean, I need job satisfaction. And the money as well. But if I get the satisfaction, the money will eventually come in as well. Why? Because I'll be able to do my job well and that alone will allow me to excel in what I do. Geddit? Ok, it's difficult to understand. I'm blabbering. I had barely 5.5 hours of sleep. *Yawnz* Actually, the Punggol Nasi Lemak Centre's nasi lemak ain't that fantastic you know? I don't understand why there is such a long queue everyday (probably every hour as well) for their nasi lemak when it ain't all that very fantastic. In fact, just a short walk away is a smaller shop, also selling nasi lemak, and it actually tastes better than the one with the long snaking queue. The chicken wing is nicer, the chilli is AWESOME and the rice is waaaaaaaaaaaay better. So go to the other nasi lemak shop. Ha. Throughout dinner, I was interrogated and "suan-ed" by my dad. He thinks I have a boyfriend. Argh. I don't! He's off his rockers. Like totally. If I had a boyfriend, you and Ma will be the first to know la! And he's more excited than me when my phone rings. Madness. o_O I hope he finds something else to interest him before he drives me nuts with his "my-daughter-has-an-imaginary-boyfriend" syndrome. Bah. I should just tell him all my guy-friends are gay. That'll probably shut him up. Ha ha ha ha. I found this! Can't remember which blog I got it off from though. *short-term memory* Colorstrology - September 10
Pantone : 16-6324 Unusual creative leader
You have a nice a nice combination of practicality and idealism. Your mind is quick and you can handle most situations with dexterity and leadership ability. You have a nature that vibrates with class and royalty. It is important for you to have a spiritual connection to your life or you may feel lonely or separate. Your personal colour resonates with enthusiasm and encouragement. Wearing, meditating or surrounding yourself with Jadesheen helps ease monetary concerns and integrates love with financial security. That's it. I am going to buy myself a piece of jade. Muahahahahaha. Love and financial security. Awesome combi. I like! :) Also: I fell from the Weeping Willow Tree! Whee! WEEPING WILLOW (Melancholy) - beautiful but full of melancholy, attractive, very empathetic, loves anything beautiful and tasteful, loves to travel, dreamer, restless, capricious, honest, can be influenced but is not easy to live with, demanding, good intuition, suffers in love but finds sometimes an anchoring partner. Cool. If any of you guys interested to find out which tree ya fell from (that sounds funny), tag me, I'll mail it to you! I'm off for lunch! Toodles!

Sigh~ Posted by Hello

Friday, June 24, 2005

I did this! From just plain pink nails to french-tip nails! Hee hee. At the risk of aggravating my headache (from the smell of the nail varnish, see). This is cool. I just discovered this function in blogger that allows you to add images to your post in one click! As in, you select the photos you want to add to your post and then it will automatically upload it to the web. Cool man. Amazing! Hope it works tho. Hmm. The fever bug got me. Bah. It's Fever Bug 1 : Selsel 0. Boo. I went to sleep with a headache, again. And I had a nightmare (technically, I had a "noon-mare"). Again. My head is threatening to spilt in the middle. Then I'll have two heads. Pretty rad, eh? Ever head heard of the saying, "two heads are better than one"? I just realised, I have no place to hold my 21st birthday party. Fantastic. The previous few places were:
  1. Aloha Loyang - fully booked for the period. Dumb.
  2. Aloha Changi - fully booked for the period. Dumb.
  3. Aranda - $350 a night (min. 2 nights) for non-members. If I book that, you guys can just have fishballs and pandan cake (well, at least I'll be safe from cream) for food.

Then Mr Melvin-Highlander-"wa ta!" Tan kindly offered me his condo's bbq pit to hold my party, "it's cheaper", he said.

To which I laughed. I can do it for free at my house.

Ok, it's very sweet of him to offer. But really. It's free at my house.

But then, I think you guys are prolly sick of coming to my house already, hor? Every year birthday at my house, every bbq come my house, everytime mahjong also at my house. No place to go? Come my house.

Ha ha ha. Kidding. Really.

How ah? I was thinking I'd have to resort (no pun intended, really) to holding my party at Downtown East or Coasta Sands. Sigh.

And if there also don't have, ya, you guessed it, Selena's house!!!

Bah. If you guys have any recommendations, please leave me a message. I'm cracking my head (no pun intended, again) open already.

Jay Chou is singing so loudly I can't think.

Wouldn't it be nice if you had a boyfriend/girlfriend who will plan your party for you? Then all you have to do is to sit and collect/count/open presents and enjoy the party.

But then, of course, after that, you're supposed to thank your boy/girl for doing all that for you, and not run off with some guy/girl at your party and leaving your boy/girl alone at your birthday party which he/she took all the pains to organize for you so that all you have to do is enjoy.

How would you feel if you exchanged positions, huh? You disgust me. Not everyone gets this kind of a privilege, to have my kor organize your birthday for you ok?!

And you! You ungrateful creature, you left him alone at the party while you went off with another guy, ignored my kor completely when he was the one who painstakingly arranged everything for you.

At least have an ounce of respect to at least appreciate what he had planned. Instead, you accused him of being oversensitive and possessive. What the hell. Do you even know what you're saying? I guess it's a way of repressing your guilt eh? Very convenient hor, push all the blame to my kor.

You neh neh, you. What right do you have, to be angry? So what if his friends posted nasty comments. Do you not think you deserved it? Huh?

Sure, it might have been just his side of the story, but of course, I'd rather believe his side of the story, any day. You kuku-naden, you. Grr. Make my blood boil.

I think my temperature just rose. Cheeken mcnugget. *Cough two-timer*

I can't believe this kind of people exist. But then I suppose there are worse.

Oh yes! I changed my blogskin! Very obvious hor? This is like the 3rd skin within May and June. Ha ha ha. I'm on a blogskin spree. Whee!

Talking about sprees. Been to the Mango sale yet? I went to the one at Tampines Isetan. Omg! It's like every female species from Tampines was there and the clothes, oh my, they looked like a tornado passed through the store. Poor salesgirls.

And I know exactly how they feel, because 2 years ago I was in their shoes, literally. Picking up after all the customers. Bah.

I bought this! Almost half price.

From $60 to $36! Hee hee! *Beams* Nice hor?

Alright, if you don't think it's nice, keep quiet. Hahaha. Cos I spent $36 on this not to hear someone say it's not nice. Bleah.

I miss Hongkong! Boo. The dimsum! The shopping! The company. Boo.

Oh ya, it's Ouyang's birthday today!! Whee! Ouyang, go see the Food Comm blog! :)

A million things I wanted to blog about, but I always forget when I get to this page. Weirdness.

Batman Begins is actually quite nice! Very interesting, to understand why Batman is who he is. Hee. I actually managed to persuade Highlander himself to watch it. Ha ha ha. I'm good.

Aiya, I'm so frustrated, I can't remember what I wanted to blog about. Grr.

I applied for jobs. I hope I'll get replies soon. And I pray for good pay, nearby locations, 9am start work please.

My head is throbbing. *throb throb*

Roars. I'm gone.

You know you're eating too much sushi when the manager at Sakae Heeren who got transferred from Sakae Century Sq can recognize you and even recall how many times you've been there over the weeks. *blush*

You know you're attracting too much attention when the salesman of a menswear store tries to pick you up when you walk past his shop.

You know the world is too small when you see your friend from poly at your cousin's wedding dinner.

You know you're just too bored when you blog 4 times in the same day!

Yesterday was self-indulgence day! Woke up bright and early at 10am! Hee hee. It's been ages since I woke up so early. Decided to cut my hair! Got sick and tired of all the split ends and my fringe that was falling all over my face. Bah. And so I did! Made an appointment with Chapter 2, and found out my stylist has been transferred to Marina Sq! But I was too lazy to go there la, so I let them choose a stylist for me. This guy called Fun Wong cut my hair for me! Very nice guy, quite cute too. Ho ho. And he's good. The end result: New haircut Posted by Hello Look familiar? Yeah, cut this hairstyle some time ago. Hee hee. But I think it looks better this time. Eh? You think? And then I decided to do my nails too!!! Hee hee! Talk about indulgence. Love the colour of my toe nails! Posted by Hello and my fingernails! Posted by Hello Hee hee. Muahahahaha! After all that, I made my way to Tanjong Pagar to meet the Prudential people. Was supposed to talk about my exam dates (ya, I actually agreed to sign up for the exams to be financial adviser) with one of the managers. But the more I thought about it, the more I felt that I didn't want to be one of them. No doubt, the money is good. Damn good, I tell ya. But then, I'm just not the "sales" kind of person. And besides, I told her, I wouldn't get the support of my parents if I really went into this line. And yes! In the end, I managed to persuade her to let me go home and think about it and talk to my parents about it. Fortunately the exam dates haven't been booked yet. So I don't have to pay for anything! Whee! I feel like a very heavy burden got lifted off me. I found this very pretty charm bracelet at Heeren!! Hee hee. I think it's more expensive than other places, but I don't know why, this one just attracted me more. Posted by Hello I am actually thinking of removing the charm and putting it on a necklace. Hmm, should I? Very nice right? The fairy looks so pretty! Mr & Mrs Smith was great! Ha ha. The chemistry between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is really.. electrifying. She's strong and cool, he's suave and smooth. Hmm. They make a really cool couple. The next shows I want to watch is Batman Begins! And Alot Like Love! Looks good. Pardon me if I'm talking incoherently. Am not thinking straight. My tummy hurts. Bah. I'm off.

Suan's Birthday Greetings Posted by Hello
Ok, I'm finally determined enough to sit down to do up the photos and blog about the trip. Rach L's internet is still down I suppose, so she's not going to blog about it. So I guess I'll have to be the one to do it. Darn. Alright, the flight there wasn't too bad, except I think the fried rice sucked. Ha ha. Only one person finished his food. We actually have assigned seats, so it doesn't have to be a mad rat race to get seats ya. We're leaving on a jet plane.. Posted by Hello From left, first row: Our farewell party, Gerie and Cass! The puny plane that brought us to Hongkong. The Valuair stewardess teaching us how to use the lifevest. See, the clouds are so fluffy and they look like cotton wool! Second row: I always get wing seats. EVERYTIME. More cotton wool. Lunch box! Third row: Yes, fasten your seatbelts! We have arrived in Hongkong! Whee! The banner that says "Relax, train will arrive in 3 minutes." My luggage, before SHOPPING. Ha. On arrival, we made our way to Ah Shan Hostel at Mong Kok. Kinda lost our way and looked like retards lugging our luggage through the streets of Mong Kok. Everyone must think we're mad. Ha ha ha. But it's a good experience! Everytime I travel, it's with a tour guide, so everything is arranged for us, transport, food and lodging. But this time, on arrival at HK, we had to arrange for our own transport, take the Airport Express to Kowloon then from there make our way to Mongkok by cab. Sights in the city Posted by Hello They have HUGE billboards! I think advertising in HK is really darn dirt cheap! The ads are like SUPER HUGE, plastered on the buildings. Mr & Mrs Smith and Batman Begins ads were EVERYWHERE! Every corner you turn, there's one of either movie or both. Esprit is huge there too, a whole building dedicated for it. Ebase is quite popular too, but I think it's cheaper in Singapore than in HK. We took a bus! And it was HKD$12 for a trip! Ok, people, be glad that we're only paying $1+ for our bus rides. Places we went Posted by Hello I love their MTR stations! Ha ha, so much so that I took photo of every stop that we were at. Except for the Jordan station, because there was no time! And we went to Madame Tussaud's! More of that later. The people Posted by Hello Ok, we're all camwhores at heart. Wahahaha. Even the guys. Every photo opportunity was not missed! Even in the crowded MTR (see 3rd photo from left, second row). The uncle behind was actually staring at us. Must be thinking we're some weird tourists. At Madame Tussauds, The Peak Posted by Hello Ok, the wax museum was fantastic la! Saw all the wax figures. Ho ho. I love Andy Lau! Can I bring him homeee? And saw MM Mr Lee Kuan Yew! So proud of him la. Click on the picture to see the bigger version. Got Kelly Chen, Hugh Grant, Bon Jovi, Lady Diana, Henry VIII, William Shakespeare, Yao Ming, Anita Mui, Michael Jackson, Charlie Chaplin, Teresa Teng, Beatles, Elvis Presley. The Room @ Ah Shan, HK MTR network and Food! Posted by Hello Alright, first 2 pictures in the first row is our room @ Ah Shan Hostel. It's really like a "bare-necessities only" kinda place. 2 single beds, a toilet, tv, dresser and mirror. That's it. No bathtub, none of those quilt blankets. Ha. But it's cool. First time staying in such a place. I felt like a backpacker! So fun! Forgot to take pics of Dorsett Seaview though. That hotel was great. Good service, room was great, near Temple St (night market) and MTR station! Recommended if you're on a shoestring budget. Shopping Galore! Posted by Hello Ah Shan Hostel is very near Ladies' St. In fact, it's just a junction away. Ladies street is like Bugis Village, multiplied by 10! And the price? Divided by 4.6! Heh heh. Esprit warehouse is a must-go! Bought both the pink skirt and black tank top with diamantes, plus a red jacket (can be seen in the MTR pic) and also an embroided tee for Mummy, all for only HKD$276! Gah. Share my joy! Ha ha ha. Eddie is a closet shopaholic! First night of arrival, we trooped down to Ladies St, he made his first purchase within like 20 minutes! But it was a good buy! A huge backpack that held our shopping for the next 3 days. Hee. Hongkong sales people are very aggressive la. See the picture above, third row, second pic, he is actually trying to get out of the stall, but the auntie is blocking his exit! He's actually looking at us for help, but, ha ha, it's more fun to watch la. But hey, he got a bargain k. The shades, original price, HKD$399, went down to HKD$40!!! New piece somemore. Cows. The Loot! Posted by Hello My buys! The 2 bags (gold & brown one) were bought at HKD$120. Hee hee. Actually each was HKD$120. Wahahahaha! And the gold woven belt, my best buy from HK! HKD$24! That's less than SGD$6. Wahahahaha. And I love rings! The one with stars look like the Meteor Garden, the one DaoMingSi bought for Shancai. Very nice! And the Hello Kitty one, got diamantes! I just had to get it! Mickey Mouse necklace looked cool too. Ok, I wanna go Hong Kong again! Like in September?? Hee hee! Disney Hong Kong is opening on September 12! 2 days after my birthday!! Whee! Aight. So, after waiting for so long for the trip, it finally came and gone. Damn. Too fast, I tell ya, too fast! Dangit. Managed to buy some stuff back for Mummy and Daddy, since they so kindly sponsored my trip there. Bought a pearl necklace, nail polish, mini-curtains for Mum and a shirt for Daddy. Oh yeah, Happy Fathers' Day, pops! Posted by Hello Hungry people are grouchy. Tired people are grouchy. Some guys actually take longer than girls to get ready. 7-11 in HK sells cheap umbrellas. It's better to bargain in English than in Cantonese or Chinese. Dimsum is cheap in HK! Wowee! I had my slippers stepped on like 235908 times throughout the whole trip. Someone snores like he's slurping soup. Dangit. Very loud! It is very difficult to decide between yellow and black. Melvin took such a long time to decide between yellow and black. We spent over half an hour in the shop before he decided, no, he wasn't going to get the bag. Only to tell us the next day that, yes, he's getting the yellow one. Ok. Not funny. Bah. Oh yeah, did I tell you guys? We almost missed our flight back. We only boarded the plane like 5 minutes before the gates closed. Last 4 passengers. Ho ho ho. So how was my trip? It was great! Awesome! Superb! Fantastic! Wonderful! Except for the second night, when SOMEONE, that neh neh, whacked me on my forehead, causing me to tear in pain and headache for the rest of the night. Bah. I swear I had a head concussion. Bleah. Alright. I'd better be off. Been at this for an hour already. Suan's birthday photos another day!! Prolly like tomorrow. P.S. Wheee! Am at Changi Airport. Waiting to enter the gates. We're finally on our way to Hong Kong! Ho ho ho! It's going to be 4 days of shopping, eating, shopping, eating and more shopping! Oh, and did I mention eating? And er, shopping? Hee hee hee. Alright, I have auto-roaming on, so if there's anything you URGENTLY wish to communicate with me, please sms me, or call after 9pm, cheaper. Great to see Cass and Gerie at the airport today before we flew! Thanks girls, for taking time off to send us off. Ho ho ho. Orite, my 15 minutes are up. I'm off. Be back soon!
