Ho ho ho! I drove the Nissan March today!! Hee hee!! Went to the Nissan showroom at Ubi today. Hee hee. The salesman was so nice to let me test drive the Nissan March. Ha ha ha. I'm so high!

It's very easy to drive, small and compact, and the steering wheel is just nice for people with short hands, like me! Hahaha. I'm kidding. But it's a really cool "keyless" car. Very futuristic. Yippee!

And the colour is yummy-licious too! Wooooohoooo!

Had class today! Block teaching! Argh, O'Connor is really getting on my nerves. He and his British-mixed-Irish-mixed-God knows where accent. Bah.

I can't understand what he's saying!! Well, bits and pieces of it. But still, he and his whizzzing. Ha! Drives me nuts. But it's funny though. Today's lesson was fun. A case-study of a HRM issue. Sort of a hands on thingey.

I've got a lesson tomorrow and another lesson on Thurs. Might see Justin and Jennifer! Hee hee!

Ahhh, my eye infection is baaaack. Boo! Go away!

Daddy bought a newer, smaller car. Hee hee. Finally got rid of his Nissan Cefiro. Bought a Nissan Sunny instead. Hee. Great. Now I can finally park properly. Woohoo! But I'm still drooling for the Nissan March.

*Droooooool...*

Look who I found in my old photo album!! Little baby!! =) Ain't he the cutest thing! Hee heez... And also.. Group photo from Dinner and Dance 2004! The 1B17 people who went for D&D! Me and Zhenting! And then there was... The Secondary buddies! Another one.. Perth Trip! CNY 2004~ Daddy and Mummy and Me! One of the long straight roads in Perth. I took this photo! Wombat and me! Marsupial! Fat kangeroo~ Ok, that's all folks! =P
Went for my first day of school on Saturday! Wowee! Got up bright and early and met Cindy and Alan for breakfast. Hee hee. Then it was 3 whole hours of Human Resource Management. Argh. It's really quite boring when you can't catch what your lecturer is talking about. My lecturer, a Mr O'Connor, spoke with an accent, bah, half the time he was laughing at his own joke. He didn't laugh, like "Hahaha", he sort of whizzed. Hmm, it was quite funny hearing him whizz. Hee hee! But he had loads of experience in HRM and shared with us loads of corporate stories that he had. Pretty interesting. Ooh, I have a classmate who looks like 5566's Jason Hsu! You know Xu Meng Zhe? Hahaha! It's cool man. And he blushes really easily! Hee hee. haha, jus thought I'd further illustrate the point.. LOL. And I fell asleep during a video clip. Heh. I hate watching videos. I'll fall asleep.. 100%! Even during Poly days, during lectures, I wouldn't even turn up if I knew they were going to play a video. Did 2 groupwork for the tutorial.. Ah. Ok.. Shall not elaborate much about that. Urm. It was OK for a first time groupwork. But... Oh yeah, and the adults in my class, some of them behave like KIDS! Argh. Chattering, laughing and talking loudly in class. *mutter mutter grumble* So then, it's a good first day of school! Went to town after class to meet Mummy and did some shopping! Woohoo! I love shopping. Am looking forward to my second day of class~ Tuesday! Woohoo! And it's pronounced as "lav-ba-ro".. Hee hee.. Finally I learnt how to pronounce it!

Maybe I don't understand how it's like to be attached. Or maybe I just don't understand how is it one can allow another person to have so much control over their lives. I'm guilty of calling him names. But I don't regret that. Because from what you've told us, it really does seem like that. The point is we don't hate you. We just detest the fact that he has changed you from one person into another, and you willingly allowed that. I'm glad you messaged me about it. It shows that my words still affect you, whether it's good or bad, I don't really know. All I know is that we never ever gave up on you. We have already decided to let the matter rest. Because since you don't think you're in a bad situation, why should we try to interfere? I don't think you're drifting away from us. We won't allow that too. But if you allow yourself to drift away from us, there is really nothing we can do. We don't wish to lose your friendship because of a boyfriend. It's not worth it. Even if your boyfriend is fabulous, fantastic, wonderful. Friendships are God's blessings, well, so are boyfriends. But friends are unwavering, always there (true friendships, at least) and we will never forsake you for another girl. I just hope you will take that in mind, and take into account all the great times we shared, the bad times we went through and hopefully, you will come back to us. Friends who share bad times, will always remain as friends. If this is about the blog entry, I will gladly remove it and apologise for my honesty and untactfulness.
Happy Birthday Wee Quan!!

It's Wee Quan's aka Spacebar's birthday! Happy birthday dude! =) May you have the most fabulous birthday! Hee hee. Take care! Tag often! Heez, August is a busy month! Lotsa birthdays! =X Also spent alot of money on presents. Heh. Never mind, September is coming soon! Hee hee. *Grin* Passed Zhenting her present today. Hee hee. Don't know whether she liked it. But she looked happy enough. LOL. So I suppose she liked it. Haha.

The present! Complete with the frame! =) Cute right!

Zhenting and her present! Hee hee!

We had Sakae Sushi! I tried my first piece of sashimi. Heh. Ok, not the whole piece, just half of it. Hahahaha, rather tasteless eh? But I could taste the rawness. Heh, hope my stomach doesn't repel it. Hahahaha. Then we went shopping! Really admire Zhenting. She lugged the big frame around Bugis!! Still can try clothes, still can buy clothes. Heh. Nice pants she bought. Haha, but we didn't get to shop much tho. Because all the shops were closed by then. Argh. I went for Orientation yesterday. Wowee. Eye opener. Saw my classmates, some uncles, some aunties, some as young as me, some young adults. Saw the degree manager, Maxine Clark. Wah... her british accent, so cool. I must learn to talk like her. Hahahahahaha~ I saw a guy who looks like Eddie! Oh my! The resemblance is UNCANNY! They way he talks, walks, behaves! My goodness! Heh. Ok, I'm excited about class. Sat's a full day. 9am to 5pm. I'm so gonna fall asleep. Human Resource Management. I still got my notes from Poly. Hee hee. They will come in good use! Oright, I'm off to sleep. Hope it rains tonight!!

You are Tweety! You are cute, and everyone loves you.You are a best friend that no one takes the chance of losing. You never hurt feelings and seldom have your own feelings hurt. Life is a breeze. You are witty, and calm most of the time. Just keep clear of backstabbers, and you are worry free.
"Kopped" this from Rachel Lum's blog! Hahaha, but actually, I hate Tweety bird. Bah. LOL. RACHEL! When can I see the F&A blog!!??
Happy Birthday Zhenting!
My dearest girlfriend, may this birthday be a wonderful day of celebration and filled with happiness! Hope you like the present that we are giving later! =) May the year ahead be smooth-sailing and "xin xiang shi cheng"!!! Love ya! *Muacks*

Today is quite a day, I must say. This entry is dedicated to a friend, let's just call her H. If you read it, you should know I'm referring to you. What I'm saying is not new, in fact, it's old, stale, rotting news. A friend of 4 years, 5, coming Jan. And I don't believe we're losing you to your boyfriend. Someone who has only known you for only 1 year plus. Ok, let's just be nice and say 2 years. Also, comparing it to your mum, who has worked her ass off to bring you up for the last 20 years. All these. And we can't compare to someone who's known you for 2 years. Who treats with so little trust, so little understanding, so little humility. I don't understand it. Enlighten me, will you? What does he have on you that makes you a complete, dare I say it, slave, to him? You are at his beck and call and his every instruction (decree, I should say). Do not be mistaken that we're interfering with your life, or even are jealous with your "so very blissful life and relationship" with your boyfriend. In fact, no one is happier than me that you got yourself a boyfriend. Ok, maybe your mum is happier, but that's out of the point. Can't you see? He's the one who's interfering with your life. He controls your every movement, what rubbish about not being allowed to take photos with guys, what nonsense about not spending more than $10 on a friend's present, what freaking bullshit about reaching home at 10pm everyday?? I tell you, it's complete bullshit. Dog shit, cat shit, bird shit. Let me tell you, the only people who can control you like that, are your parents, girl. The very people who worked their asses off to raise you. Not your freaking boyfriend. No matter how much you say "it's because he's concerned about me", it doesn't hide the fact that he is, very much so, controlling every aspect of your life. You are a human being, not an object, an asset, something that he can put a claim to. Your blindness to his bullshit is what's causing us to turn our backs on you. And how can you even make such a shallow statement, that we hate him because he looks like an ah-beng? I'm insulted. 4 years of friendship and this is the only reason you can think of? Didn't the thought that maybe "my friends are concerned about me", "maybe they are right" ever crossed your mind when you replied me? I've thought better of you. Where's that strong, opinionated girl I know? You're no longer the same person I know. Let me tell you this, treat your friends like spare tyres, and regret it. One day, I'm just saying, if you ever break up with your boyfriend, or need someone to stand by you, don't be surprised if you turn around and see no one. It's because we've all grown tired of trying to talk sense in you and have all walked away from you. I hope that day will never come, because I'm afraid I can't be a loyal friend to you and stand by you. Why for, when my opinions and views ain't worth no two cents beside your boyfriend's. People outside of the picture can see the picture more clearly than you think. From what we've gathered, we think your boyfriend's a complete male chauvinistic pig (sorry to other guys reading this entry), whose ego is bigger than the moon, a freaking control freak and someone who ain't worth losing us. If you think we're just a worthless bunch of people you call friends, and you just don't give two balls about us, and you think you're boyfriend's more important than us, people who've known you for 4 years, then I've only 3 words to say to you. So be it. This will be the last time I want to talk abt this. It's far too draining. I shouldn't be racking my brains over an issue like this. I'm just saving some friendships for you. Think about it.
"There's not much time left, let me sing another song, for you. After tonight, the world will be gone. I still have one day, to learn how to love you. Before it's too late, I hope it's not. Witholding tears, with eyes closed, don't cry, stay in my arms, before the end of the world. The lights are gone, I just want to hold you hands to go one last time around the world. The night comes but don't be afraid, I love you. Stay in my arms at the end of the world. I only can't forget in this world that I once held you. I wish to, forever. What's trembling so terribly, is it the sky or your hands? Don't let anything break us up, it'd be the last time I watch you."

It was great fun. Great food! "Butter Gao Gao"! Hee. Ate lotsa prawns! Yummy! Made a trip to Pasir Ris library too, on the way to the chalet, borrowed two more books by Michael Crichton, Prey and Timeline. Hmm, they look nice, I hope they are! Everybody's getting chalets for their birthdays. Hmmph. Shuling's birthday is in November and she's already booked a chalet. Argh. I still have no idea what to do for my birthday. Maybe I should just shut myself in my room and study. Oh wait. I've got class on my birthday. Wonderful. Bleah. And, it's the end of the Athens Olympics 2004 for Singapore. A salute to all Singaporean athletes, our swimmers, Joscelin Yeo, Mark Chay, Gary Tan, Christel Bouvron, Nicolette Teo, our shuttler, Ronald Susilo, our paddlers, Li Jiawei, Zhang Xueling, Jing Jun Hong and also the rest of Team Singapore who fought hard in Athens. Thank you! =) We'll see you in Beijing Olympics 2008! Shall post up more photos of Graduation Ceremony from Shuling (Xu)'s camera.

So will make changes along the way. Until a new skin comes along! Zhenting's chalet tomorrow! Yay! We made a mini-video for her. Hahaha, recorded on my handphone! See whether can bluetooth it to her. =P I'm off!

I don't believe it. I'm in shock. And grief. We lost. Singapore lost. To a Thai. Sigh~ 15-1. One miserable point. And that Boonsak didn't even earn his match point. Ronald Susilo gave it to him!! Can you imagine!! Nearly cried when I saw that *neh neh* win. 2 sets in a row. SICKENING. Don't talk to me about anything to do Thailand, badminton, Olympics. Argh. I just hope our paddlers will do better than this. Sigh. Darn.

Tuesday, August 17, 2004

*chant* Susilo! Susilo! Susilo! *chant* Today is match day. Susilos next match at the Olympics. Singapores hope of getting a medal lies heavy on him. One step closer to the medal? I certainly hope so. Caught the match the previous night. My my, what a match. He fought hard man! So proud of him. Although he aint Singaporean by birth, hes representing Singapore now! Hee hee. Itll be Majulah Singapura playing during the medal presentation. Woohooo! Ok, Im thinking too much. How not to? Its Singapores only medal-hope since 40 years ago when Tan Howe Liang got the Silver medal for Weightlifting. Sigh. And since were not as TALL, our limbs are not as LONG and our lungs are not STRONG enough, we have no chance of even making it into the Swimming finals. But to even qualify for the Olympics is good enough. So we just have to continue training HARD and hopefully, one day, eventually, well reach the swimming finals and probably smell Medals. =) Its tough being an athlete in Singapore, aint it? We dont have FULL-TIME athletes, only PART-TIME athletes. Its just hard lar. Instead of being able to train full-time, the athletes have to juggle with studies and work and worry about paying bills, loan dues and basically just about everything else. So how to do well? Maybe we just dont think Sports as a full-time career. Its treated as part-time. Something you do when youre free, or as a hobby, or an interest. But rarely as a full-time career. I mean, where will it get you in Singapore? You cant pay bills by playing table-tennis, you cant get distinctions in your O levels by swimming and you certainly dont get paid for training. Athletes in Singapore just dont get perks like the athletes in other countries. Maybe thats why the last time we got a medal was 40years ago. Sigh. Hopefully, with the Sports School up and running, we will have more athletes and up our chances of getting medals at Olympics and other major sports meets. One can only hope, and I shall! =P So. This is the 3rd time Im typing this entry. Blogger screwed up last night. Kept signing me out and deleting my entries. *Neh neh * Got so pissed off last night I just went to sleep after watching Thorpe vs Hoogie vs Phelps in their 200m Freestyle. Exciting, but predictable. Of course Thorpe won! And of course Phelps got Bronze. Sorry Terry, Phelps need to train harder before he can beat the mighty Thorpe! Or even Dutchman Hoogie, for that matter. Hur. Its safer to type in MS Word. Before Blogger eats up my 4th entry! Haha. So smart of me right. I also had to re-post the Graduation photos. And there are some repeats. Which means Blogger is screwed. Haha. Cold in the office. *Brr! * Paid my fees yesterday! A whopping $6800+. SHO BLODY EXPENSIVE. That piece of paper better be worth it. Im going to Toa Payoh very often coming Aug 28. Heh. And theres Orientation on the 25th. Right smack on Zhentings birthday. Haha.. And then therere sooooooo many shops at Toa Payoh! Oh my! Sakae Sushi, Long John Silvers, MOS burger, Macdonalds, a gigantic COURTS, Crystal Jade, NTUC, Watsons, push carts! Wahahaha, so fun! I think Im gonna have fun shopping before class. But not after class because I end at 10pm! Hahaha. Ooh, got cinema just beside the campus too! Wonderful eh? *Growl * Hungry. I deleted IT leh. Hee hee. Am so proud of myself. I wanted to, anyway. And I doubt anyone will notice. Hee hee. Its just no point, lar. I thought I was wrong. But I was right. You are just like the rest of them. Wrong. Forget it. Some things need to be fought for. Some things just come to you when you least expect it. So Ill not expect it. Listen up! Im not expecting anything! So, will YOU come to me now?
I'm sick of typing. Blogger is FUCKED UP. My post got deleted twice. What the FUCK is wrong with it. TWICE. FUCKING IRRITATING.

Home Music & Lyrics: Dick Lee Music Arrangement: Iskandar Ismail Whenever I am feeling low I look around me and I know There's a place that will stay within me Wherever I may choose to go I will always recall the city Know every street and shore Sail down the river which brings us life Winding through my Singapore Chorus: This is home truly, where I know I must be Where my dreams wait for me, where that river always flows This is home surely, as my senses tell me This is where I won't be alone, for this is where I know it's home When there are troubles to go through We'll find a way to start anew There is comfort in the knowledge That home's about its people too So we'll build our dreams together Just like we've done before Just like the river which brings us life There'll always be Singapore (Chorus X 2) For this is where I know it's home For this is where I know I'm home Bwahaha, SING ALONG PEOPLE! I love this song! The MTv, the lyrics, the feeling whenever I hear this song, so close to heart. So real. Congratulations Mr Lee Hsien Loong, on his becoming Singapore's 3rd Prime Minister! Congratulations to the newly sworn-in Cabinet of Ministers! Thank you Mr Goh Chok Tong, for all that you have done for Singapore, for all the tears and sweat that you shed for her. I am sure all Singaporeans thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I love Singapore! Including all the nasty aunties (which I will become someday) and all the "kiasu" people, "kiasi" people and basically everything else about Singapore. I love it here! I love it! Love it! Love it! =)

Am feeling pretty excited! In another 9 hours, I will be reporting at Temasek Polytechnic and receiving my Diploma. Woot! How very exciting. It's going to be a frenzy of photo-taking, bear-hugging, more photo-taking and catching up with friends I haven't met since June. It's finally here. Graduation Ceremony. So significant. So symbolic. I can't say I'm a student in Temasek Polytechnic no more. It's sad. But as I walk up the steps of the stage at the Temasek Convention Centre, I will be recalling all the great times I had there, all the "not-so-great" times I experienced there, the people I've met and got to know better, people who I wish I never met but did, and of course, most importantly, the great bunch of people I got to know and love. As much as I'm glad that I will not have anything to do with some of you any longer, I hope it will not be the end of the road for some of us. I want to attend some of your weddings, I want to be your kids' god-mother, I want to still be able to laugh and crap with some of you 10, 20, 30 years down the road, all wrinkled and hard-of-hearing and "bo-gey". These people, I'm sure you know who you are. If you're not sure, then you're not one of them. Hah. Nonetheless, tomorrow's ceremony will be a beautiful close to the chapter we once shared and I wish all graduands of 2004 a smooth path ahead!
